A log has several definitions. Generally, it refers to a felled tree trunk that has been limbed but not yet cut, squared, or debarked. Logs are the raw material we process into firewood. Sometimes we process them directly into our combine harvesters, but often they are salvaged and split before being processed. They are also the raw material used for other primary and secondary processing activities. Packaging: Loose logs unloaded by crane. Please check the feasibility of delivery in relation to your desired unloading location. The crane has a lateral reach of 6 meters. Dimensions: (2 meters, 4 meters, or 6 meters, depending on your requirements). The most popular length is 2 meters. You choose the diameter, the wood species (generally a mix of hardwoods for firewood), and the moisture content (green wood, seasoned wood, dry wood). For hardwood logs, we primarily offer oak, ash, beech, hornbeam, elm, and maple. You can choose a truckload of mixed hardwood and softwood, 100% hardwood, or 100% softwood, etc. You can also select your preferred diameter. Generally, the customer informs us of the maximum diameter they require, or if they prefer a mix (large, medium, etc.).
